【笔记】泰维多救菇
一颗菇猫/四舍五入下就是菇安糖。出自Home2。
Tulkas overthrows Melko in the battle of the Silent Pools. Bound in Lumbi and guarded by Gorgumoth the hound of Mandos.
托卡斯在Silent Pool（不太清楚这是哪个湖）之战中打败了米尔寇。把他关押在Lumbi，由曼督斯的猎犬Gorgumoth（这谁？）看守。
对Lumbi的解释：
The name Lumbi is found elsewhere (in alist of names associated with the tale of The Coming of the Valar, I. 93),where it is said to be Melko's third dwelling; and a jotting in notebook C,sufficiently mysterious,reads: 'Lumfad. Melko's dwelling after release. Castleof Lumbi.' But this story also is lost.
Lumbi之名出现在其他地方（一份与“维拉们的到来”故事相关的名单中，home第一卷，第93页）。它被认为是米尔寇的第三个居所。在笔记本C上有一份简短的笔记，十分神秘，写着：“Lumfad. 米尔寇被释放后的住所。Lumbi的城堡。”但是这个故事也已经失落了。
Melko again breaks away, by the aid of Tevildo (who in long ages gnaws his bonds)
米尔寇因泰维多的帮助再次脱困（泰维多在漫长的岁月中不断啃咬着绑缚米尔寇的镣铐）。
！！！！！！
泰维多果然是个忠猫！
大眼果然是个忠猫！
这得咬了多久，牙都啃秃噜了吧……
蘑菇在另一条时间线——缇努维尔的传说里把泰维多流放了实在太过分了呜呜呜……
这个版本的故事里，蘑菇最后还是上了天回不来。泰维多把他救出来后，他马不停蹄地去挑拨精灵。随后托卡斯派崽和精灵一起对付他。
Telimektar of the silver sword and Ingil surprise Melko and wound him, and he flees and climbs up the great Pine of Tavrobel.
银剑Telimektar（托卡斯的崽）和Ingil突袭米尔寇，并且击伤了他。米尔寇逃离并且爬上Tavrobel的巨松。
这颗巨松也蛮谜的，种下去后被遗忘，越长越高最终通天，能够到星星。米尔寇也不知道怎么回事，逃着逃着就上树。大概养猫久了被同化了……
Telimektar and Ingil pursue him, and theyremain now in the sky to ward it, and Melko stalks high above the air seekingever to do a hurt to the Sun and Moon and stars (eclipses, meteors).
Telimektar和Ingil继续追击米尔寇，现在他们仍留在天空中监视他。米尔寇升到更高的天空，并得以伤害太阳月亮和星星（日食，流星）。
He is continually frustrated, but on hisfirst attempt -- saying that the Gods stole his fire for its making -- he upset the Sun, so that Urwendi fell into the Sea, and the Ship fell near the ground,scorching regions of the Earth. The clarityof the Sun's radiance has not been so great since, and something of magic hasgone from it.Hence it is, and long has been, that the fairies dance and sing moresweetly and can the better be seen by the light of the Moon --because of the death of Urwendi.
米尔寇上天后干的破事：
米尔寇经过不懈努力（= = ）搅乱了太阳，太阳船翻了，阿瑞恩掉进大海，死了。
不管哪个时间线，米尔寇都专业坑阿瑞恩……
由于阿瑞恩的死亡，太阳的光芒不复以往，很多美好的事物隐退了，月亮也出了状况。
Although grieved at the Gods' behest, the Pine is cut down; and Melko is thus now out of the world -- but one day he willfind a way back, and the last great uproars will begin before the Great End.
众神在悲痛（不明白是因为阿瑞恩之死，还是因为那两个上天监视米尔寇不回来的……）中决定砍断巨松，米尔寇因此被排除在世界之外。然而，总有一日他将设法归来，在阿尔达终结之前，犹有末日终战。
砍了树就回不来……杰克和魔豆？
勇救爱菇的忠猫泰维多又被孤零零留在阿尔达了。不管哪条时间线，大眼儿反正也总是要当一次未亡……猫。
Though Melko sits without, gnawing his fingers and gazing in anger on the world, he can suggest evil to Men soinclined -- but the lies he planted of old still grow anspread.
虽然米尔寇停留在世界之外，咬着手指（？）愤怒地注视着世界，只要他愿意，他依然可以唤醒人类心中的邪恶——因为他早已播下了谎言之种，它将继续生长扩散。
总结一下结局就是：墙外蘑菇墙里猫，墙外咬手，墙里喵乱叫。
